We are excited to announce that the second biannual, Thumbs UPstate Improv Festival will be held on April 4, 5 and 6 at the Central New York Playhouse in Syracuse, NY.
We want this event to be as accessible as possible, so passes to the entire festival will be between $10 - $20. We are also working on ways for your group to stay in Syracuse affordably.
A rough itinerary for the festival:
-Friday: Free Pizza party for all performers followed by an evening of shows
-Saturday late morning/early afternoon: Workshops led by experienced improvisers
-Saturday late afternoon and evening: Improv shows followed by open jams.
So talk to your groups and friends and anyone else you know who does improv. If this is something that your improv team is definitely interested in attending let us know so we can start getting an idea for how many groups will be attending.
We are super excited about uniting all the improv groups in Upstate New York and hope you will be able to join us for a weekend of awesomeness.

Our hope is that this festival will be a catalyst in bringing all of the Upstate groups together in order to learn from each other and have some fun. We would love to see this festival become a rotating event amongst all of the Upstate cities. Looking forward to seeing you in April!
